I'm kind of amazed at the success of great songs in prog with airy,
spacey female
vocals that there aren't a lot more.
My favorites:
National Health
Hawkwind (Bridget Wishart era)
Anthony Phillips Geese and the Ghost
Renaissance
Eskaton/Magma but this kind of goes in a different area....
Anyone have any others?

Indeed. The Bovio sisters are awesome. The "Live In the Real World" DVD is
one of my favorites. And pretty much any vocalist featured on an Ayreon
album is excellent.
Right now I'm really digging Tara Busch. Amazing pipes with a wide range,
and her "Pilfershire Lane" album is mostly psychedelic, quite sophisticated,
and often very proggy. Whoever likes "The Dreaming" era Kate Bush, is
likely to appreciate Tara's music.

Not too many other people consider them prog (I think of them as synth
prog), but anyway, I'm rather fond of Eleanor Friedberger of the Fiery
Furnaces.
