The Final Cut is a thoughtful meditation on the horrors, futility and
madness of war. It also excoriates politicians that play warlord for no
good reason.

It couldn't be more timely or relevant. How one feels about the music
is an individual matter. I find it infinitely more listenable than
either A Momentary Lapse of Reason or The Division Bell.

Trash for tone deaf teenage girls.

You missed out 'Presence', their second best album.

You forgot to mention a 4 year hiatus in the middle of that list.
with albums by Hammill, the rest of the band, Hammill and the rest of
the band, etc.

That should be 8 albums, from 'Piper' to 'Obscured by Clouds'.
They really went downhill after that.

The Who's run of great albums continued through By Numbers, IMO.
Which brings them up to six albums.
