Quite a retarded list! Well I guess most of the bands deserve to be in
the list but the order is so messed up.
http://classicrock.about.com/od/recommendationsandreviews/a/top100_bands.htm
1. The Beatles
Essential Album: Revolver
With record sales estimated at more than a billion worldwide, no other
band had a greater influence on the course of rock music.
Profile
2. Pink Floyd
Essential Album: Wish You Were Here
They had one of the flashiest stage shows of any band, but their music
gained its most fame being used in movies.
Profile
3.The Who
Essential Album: Who's Next
One of the first, most successful, and longest lasting "power trios,"
this group was innovative both musically and technically.

What's retarded is that they list The Who as a "power trio".
They don't know how to count.
At #37, the Guess Who: Canada's most popular rock band
.........................................
And then Rush passed them.

They obviously dont count Daltrey as he did not play any instruments. I
know it is retarded but thats probably what they meant.

Yes, The Guess Who is Canadian. Most popular, I doubt that but they are
Canadian

Which is, of course, the reason you posted it.
I'm disappointed in you, Raja. Where's your quality control? Can't you keep
up with the hectic, breakneck pace of composing two to three 100-item lists a
day listing the same three bands over and over again? This is the equivalent
of when TV shows do one of those "clip shows". I expect to see ORIGINAL
derivative list crap from you, not second-rate list crap you just copied and
pasted from somewhere else. If you don't start shaping up soon, I'm gonna
stop letting you suck my cock.

You may want to look at the header. This is xposted to several places,
only one of which is ampf. This is Raja's MO: xpost to several places
his list so that fans of different bands or sub-genres can have a bit
of debate.
