1) Led Zeppelin: They were probably the most versatile. They stretched
blues and folk music to its limits. They also have influences of funk,
soul, reggae, country etc.

2) Yes: probably the best classical+rock+jazz band of the 70s

2) Pink Floyd: among the earliest experimental bands. They innovated
with avant-garde, pop music and even atmospheric music.

4) Van der Graaf Generator: psychedelia, jazz, and classical music
combined to create a unique sound

5) Can: a great fusion of avant-garde music, electronic music and jazz
music

These bands have a string of consistent and great classic (at least 5
of them) albums.

Led Zeppelin (8): LZ I, LZ II, LZ III, LZ IV, Houses of the Holy,
Physical Graffiti, Presence, In Through the Out Door

Yes (7): Yes, The Yes Album, Fragile, Close to the Edge, Tales from
Topogrpahic Oceans, Relayer, Going for the One

actually, they just electrified the blues. very simple stuff. their
genius was in their execution.

That is not true even for the first two albums. The first album has a
lot of psychedelia in it. Dazed and Confused has a distorted guitar
played by a violin bow and sounds very psychedelic. Black Mountain Side
has Indian music in it. An Indian guy played tabla in it. What is and
What Should Never Be sounds very psychedelic.

Yarbirds were awesome too, but not very consistent. I find the Stones
overrated but they have some decent albums too. Haven't got into the
50s yet.

What about the other two albums? There were ten, before all the compilations.
The OP is a troll, with his partial lists and incorrectly spelled titles,
which proves he is unfamiliar with the albums.

LOL which is the 10 studio album? I understand if you include Coda
(which is actually a compilation and not a real album) but there is no
10th album.
