'Greedy Pig'?
"When Dave Gilmour played at last night's Live 8 concert, it was not the
first time that the Pink Floyd guitarist had done his bit for charity.
In 2003, Gilmour sold his house in Little Venice, west London, to Earl
Spencer and gave the entire ВЈ3В·6 million proceeds to Crisis. It was the
largest amount ever donated to the charity, and it helped to set up the
Urban Village project, a scheme to integrate homeless people into society."
