You only listed six bands, is this the extent of your music world?
> Beatles - Sgt Pepper, MMT
I must say I like Sgt. Pepper and MMT, but to say that these are their
best albums is equivalent to blacklisting the more expressive,
innovative albums that preceded and proceeded Pepper and MMT:
Revolver, Abbey Road.
> Cream - Disraeli Gears
This album is much, much more than psychedelic rock. I would say this
album isn't a true test of the Cream's powerful, synergy. I would
nominate "Wheels of Fire" as their best.
> JHE - Are you Experienced
Debut album. Although there are many of JH's signature songs on this
LP, I don't think this album shows what Hendrix is all about. Ever
heard "And God's Made Love" or "Machine Gun"? That's Hendrix.
> Doors - Doors
I can only tolerate The Doors in small dosages. The signature songs
are all on this album. After this, why bother listening to another?
> Pink Floyd - The Piper At the Gates of Dawn
Heh.
I thought this album was the greatest psychedelic rock album ever
made....when I was twenty. Listening to this album again after some
time, I have come to realize that many of the compositions render the
majority of "PAGD" unlistenable. The annoying bowed bass lines in
'Lucifer Sam" and that horrible slide whistle in "Flaming"...ugh.
> Velvet Underground - VU and Nico, White Light/White Heat
I would rank this song lower than some other albums of the same year,
particularly because I can't stand this band's artsy lean on rock
music. Some better albums of this year are "Surrealistic Pillow" by
Jefferson Airplane, "Itchycoo Park" Small Faces, "Buffalo Springfield
Again".....

I'm sure it does.
