Well I always liked Yardbirds. they were brilliant and innovative. and
they made balsy music too unlike some of their 'wussy' peers.

Not a bad list, but the exclusion of VAN HALEN is a no-no.

Never found anything great about him. His neo-classical style was
already explored by Ritchie Blackmore and Alex Lifeson.... even Steve
Howe to some extent.

And moreover, Van Halen sucked quite a lot. They had possibly the worst
rythm section of all the hard rock bands.
