You simply don't get it: a "better" list of the British Invasion would
probably be the first ten or so plus a cherry pick of the rest, but then
you would have only a chunk of common knowledge not worth posting. The
list as is is so silly in its attempt to include every English rock/pop
group of the time (which it fails to do) that it becomes pointless in an
entirely different way. The entire project - no matter how you frame it
- is pointless. It makes no difference if I make a "better" list or not
- the exercise is a bit of futile gasbagging.
