I think the javascript generator at myscrapblog is borked. The page
source appears to be innocuous enough, but it doesn't pull down the
desired blog reference.

The blog service I use is admittedly not very good, but what happened
is that I removed most of the entries, including the cited one, as not
being of any possible interest to anyone. . Sorry about that.

I think I was moaning about my lack of direction; that hasn't really
changed but it's more of an embarrassment of riches, than a genuine
complaint. Too many choices, no clue as to which direction to go.
Why I would ask a lot of people on an anonymous list what to do,
people who really (a) don't care; and (b) don't really like me,
anyway, indicates that my chief detractor may be onto something when
she indicates that I'm not very bright. Maybe not very bright is not
as accurates as just, trusting and hopeful, despite every indication
that I should be the contrary.

I think the choices were something like;

Phd, in musicology, composition, or conducting (accepted into two
programs, finished coursework in one)
EdD in Educational Technology - Distance Learning (and then finish law
school?) (accepted into...

That's MFA, not MM.

I think you're right. The loss of community is substantial, however.
and the bass blog was too good to keep to myself.

Connie,
I don't have time to run down the book title but I just took a great course
(internal corporate training) in Advanced html with css. I'll post it for you.
Using css will make your life a lot easier in the .com world.

Sorry I can't track it down now but my orchestra has a concert tomorrow
night and there's much wood-shedding to be done!

You have many wonderful directions to go. I can see why it is so difficult to
decide. I rode he fence between starting a DMA in piano and a MBA in marketing.
I ended up doing neither and am very happy. Most of my music endeavors since
becoming a computer programmer have been so fulfilling emotionally and
musically (and I get a paying gig every now and again). One thing I did learn
was that riding the fence was detrimental to my health and well being.
