In Italy we have no chance to be heard by international and open-
minded fans. Our lyrics are in English and we don't play Italian pop
music... Our sound was born in early 2007 and right now we are
recording our first demo. Enjoy!

[NYC] Deep BASSIST Wanted (5-string or B-tuned) for dark band

Author: chthonic
Date: Aug 8, 2008 10:25

we are an existing band with influences from industrial, metal,
shoegazer, experimental noise
making dark and uniquely damaged music with pop-like structures.

we need a bassist who:

• lives in the NYC area
• plays 5-string or a 4-string tuned BEAD
• is content playing with programmed beats
• can play mostly by ear
• willing to use distortion, chorus, even bass synth sometimes
• has gear and wants to play live
• values playing over ego

bassists we wish we could steal:
simon gallup (cure)
carlos d (interpol)
jeordie white - w/o makeup (marilyn manson, nine inch nails)
robert trujillo (metallica)
zak sally (low)
colin greenwood (radiohead)

tell us your influences, gear, what you want in a band situation

SOURCECODEX: Guided Relaxations through Soundwaves

New CD out . . .

Here's a headsup to a compilation of SourceCodeX's best moments to
promote that sense of timelessness and de-stressing, neuro-chem
release . . . new material on this release only.

I was asked to speak on ambient music and relaxation after being in
local news about my music. I compiled the fav trax from all my
releases and offered them for sale at lecture. Feedback was good as to
the CD's calming effect so I decided to release it officially.

Other than James Johnson's Surrender or Steve Roach's Quiet Music
being on daily repeat mode, in my car CD player -- it is actually my
own stuff on this collection, many times, that I find the most
effective in de-stressing -- no brag, just fact.

Samples, sales, and info here:
http://www.SourceCodeX.com

Ciao!

Happy travels . . . "brain drool" warning
