teraa khayaal dil se mitaayaa nahiin abhi (DORAAHA) - anyone have it, please?

Does anyone happen to have a reasonably decent quality recording of
this truly magnificent Talat melody from Anilda's DORAAHA? My entire
DORAAHA soundtrack is fraught with a frightful level of hiss-crackle-
pop of ancient vinyl.

This song has been discussed at several points on RMIM, and made its
appearance on most series (Geetanjali, ATMJH, etc.) but no amount of
discussion seems enough... what a truly gorgeous song, with miss-
several-beats poetry from Sahir. Some links to past discussions on
this:

And finally, a link to a scratchy-as-all-goop recording of the song
itself:

If some soundforge-whiz can clean up this mp3, that would be awesome
too.

Thankee.

Hrishi.

  Kismat (43) hit with young

On my recent visit to India, we were sitting
around celebrating my mother's 80th birthday.
I propsed watching Kismat (43) which she had
seen twice. There were over 20 people including
kids of ages 16-20.Teenagers were all glued to the TV
and were in shock that such a great movie was
made so many years ago.

My video version had only one line of Parul Ghosh song,
"Papiha Re" sung by Mumtaz Shanti's sister (actress??)
as Ashok Kumar approches her.
Was there a full version in the movie ever?

Two queries:

What is the meaning of the Persian phrase uttered by Hrithik?

Shatrugan Sinha is credited in the titles. What was his contribution?
Voice dubbed for some other actor in the film?

Thanks

Robin

surhall@gmail>>>Yesteryears' actress Manorama dead
February 15th, 2008 - 11:43 pm ICT by admin - Email This Post

Mumbai, Feb 15 (IANS) Yesteryears' actress Manorama, known for her
comic and negative roles, died here Friday. She was last seen in Deepa
Mehta's Oscar nominated "Water". The portly woman with exaggerated
eyelashes and expressions was popularly known for roles like the
wicked aunt in "Seeta Aur Geeta", "Ek Phool Do Maali" and "Do
Kaliyan".

However, she is also said to have worked as a heroine in quite a few
movies when she started her acting career in Lahore (now in Pakistan)
over six decades ago, according to one of her former colleagues.

She married Raja Naqsar, also an actor. The couple migrated to Mumbai
after partition in 1947 where Raja became a producer.

She could often drive audiences into splits by her mere presence. She
later appeared in a couple of TV serials.

Almost forgotten by the industry, Manorama surprised many when she
appeared in "Water" as the head of a widow's ashram in Varanasi. The
film, set in the early 20th Century, revolved around the plight of
widows in India forced into isolation and often prostitution
