Hi all,
I have always questioned people, irrespective of how big they are in
certain circles, about some statements. There is a famous film music
director who once mentioned that "music is fraud". Irrespective of
what he meant, music
is something he does for a living, is n't it?
If an actor who is an atheist acts in a God role, it is still probably
considered ethical because he is just an actor. But, is it ok for an
atheist to sing carnatic music, where the compositions are mostly on
deities, and about various composers descriptions of God? Is it
considered ethical for someone who is an atheist to sing "Oh Rama,
come and save me" and make money?
Your thoughts please..
