Do a google search for "Goldenchild" and "Kaz".

The rap battle was the greatest thing.

I'd like to see Quest circa. 2007 vs. Goldenchild circa. 1997.

In Flash's defense.... he did go listen and reevaluate his opinions
shortly thereafter. Back then, discussions like this actually changed
people's opinions - rather than the stupid brick wall flame wars we
have now.

OT schooled a lot of people (including me) on the importance of the g
rap underground. I was always a fan of mob, but around the time I
popped in here (1999?) I still kind of saw it as an anomaly in the
world of street rap - I didn't know shit about Houston and how
important it was.

We all owe Overtime our respect for repping the south as hard as he
did - he opened a lot of ears to music that many would have dismissed
just by looking at the jewel case.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised by the vehemence of his stance.
