In a previous century a friend gave me a box of Romeo y Julieta Churchills
*not* made in the Dominican Republic. Shorty thereafter I gave one to a guy
I knew who was a serious cigar smoker, and he was just nice as pie
afterwards, so I gave him a couple more later on his birthday, Christmas,
whatever. Eventually he got around to mentioning that these babies were
worth something like thirty bucks apiece, they were what his wife referred
to as house cigars (as opposed to garage cigars). I figured that was a good
reason not to pursue cigar smoking, I was afraid if I stuck with it I might
learn to tell the difference and three for a C-note is a bit much.
