..and I gather the DG DVDs of live 8 and 9 are very good, too, 8

I haven't seen these, and as I don't posses a DVD player, it makes

Can you say something more about this?
Why were Karajan's tempo choices wrong (e.g.) ?
Are they worse than tempo choices by other conductors?
