Thomas Humphrey's apprentice doing repairs and making instruments??

As most of you probably know, one of the greatest builders of modern times,
Thomas Humphrey passed away unexpectedly in April. I had the pleasure of
meeting Tom and his apprentice, while picking up a spruce topped Millennium
style guitar several years ago. The guitar has developed a crack in the
top, after I let it get dry over the winter. I need to get it repaired. I
would also like to get another new guitar, of the same Millennium style
construction and lattice bracing, with a cedar top. Back when I was in
Tom's shop, we talked quite a while, about a multitude of guitar related
subjects. Tom was true wealth of information. Very open and honest with
his opinions. Tom's apprentice / assistant / friend, a chap named Kelly,
gave me his card. Worth Guitars. I checked his website,
www.worthguitars.com , and saw some interesting guitars. Tom told me
that if I didn't have the time to wait or money in hand to purchase one of
his guitars, I should try one from Kelly, as they are both built in the same
manner, to the same "specs". This looks like a possibilty for repairs and
maybe a new cedar topped Millennium, that I always wanted, but didn't get to
order from Tom. My question is, has anyone out there had any experience
with this fellow's instruments or repair work? Thanks in advance for any
info.

Todd,
I have a Englemann spruce topped guitar, with east indian rosewood body made
by him. Wonderful playing instrument. Very responsive, ringing sustain,
loud instrument. Supurb craftsmanship. It did take almost a year to get
the instrument though (which he told me it would). I paid $3500 for it and
have had some persons tell me they thought it a great deal. You can tell
it's origins immediately when looking at and playing this guitar. May be
worth your investigation. Best Wishes. Andre

I have a cedar/brazilian millenium style built by him when he was building
them in Thomas' shop. Very nice. Great volume and tone. Outstanding
projection, nice action.
