Friends,
The Beatles have been ruined for me (I won't go into details). What
other musical acts have an equally rewarding oeuvre?
Thanks in advance.

Yea, I can't really put my finger on it. But I always feel like she's
yodeling or something. Anyway maybe I haven't given her a fair
shake. I'll try again.

'River' and 'Big Yellow Taxi' I guess. Then I went and checked out
her recordings and didn't like them. In addition to the yodeling
problem, the vocal track sounds like someone turned the treble down
and the bass way up.

Thanks.

"
For once, we agree. And your area of un-enlightenability extends far
beyond classical music.

I used to hang with Joni Mitchell back in the mid 70's...... when she
would visit Santa Fe.

Is music a contest to you?

My wife and I have recently been revisiting music of our youth (mid
80s) and the music of The Smiths is as original, clever, and
emotionally engaging as when we first heard it . . . and Johnny Marr
is a great guitarist.
