He really was in no mood for nonsense on that day.

He didn't/doesn't suffer fools gladly.

Did you you see the Martin Scorsese documentary? We thought it was
excellent.

Ditto... a lot of the Maysle Brothers footage...

I did. I found Scorsese's distortion intolerable on several levels.

Please be specific. I don't recall any distortion.

Think relatively about the dictatorship of Oprah shamelessly
leading this shallow age away from the shining lights of the trinity -
Bard Dude, Ben XVI and Puto.

Do you really think Dickweed can come up with anything else to say?
Oh, yeah, I forgot his sick obsession with Anna.

Wanna bet he can't say anything with mentioning any of the above.

For example, he portrayed Dylan as a leftist and pushed the standard
"voice of a generation" nonsense that Dylan himself has rejected time
and time and time again. Indeed Dylan has repudiated everything that
foul generation stood for. One need only listen to Time Out of Mind
and Modern Times to understand this. From the '60s, one need only
listen to John Wesley Harding. From the '70s Blood on the Tracks,
Desire. I could go on. (And please note that I haven't even mentioned
anything from his Jesus days).

Unless my memory has failed me, and I will watch this documentary
again to determine this, none of your comments here are accurate. Why
I found the documentary to have have been so good is exactly because
Scorsese didn't do what you are claiming he did.
