Anyone here play the 10 easy pieces from Leo Brouwer's "Nuevos
Estudios Sencillos"? According to L.B. they are for children and
beginners but they contain a lot of technique fixers for us beginner-
intermediate CGers, including afro-cuban rhythms.

Well here it is Sunday afternoon, I've just consumed half a bottle of
"Flat Bed Red" some excellent wine I aquired last time I visited
Sonoma county, and I'm micro tuning the soundboard of Lare's
guitar..... life is good!

I'm also listening to Chapdelaine's Mexico CD.... Ponce's Theme Varie
et Finale, Sonata Romantica, Sonata III And Sonta Meridional. I
haven't listened to this CD in 15 years, because when it first came
out I listened to it everyday all day long for a year. Listening to
this CD in a new light, I have to say without doubt it is the Gold
Standard for Ponce, every serious Classical guitarist should have this
CD as one of the top 10 CD's ever made.......
