I have the Ricordi edition I bought at Jack Cecchini Studios in
downtown Chicago sometime in the early 70s. On first listen it sounds
about the same except for couple extra measures and bass harmonies
about 3:00 into it. Is that the only diffenrece?

I would like to become more acquainted with Kleynjans's and Duarte's
compositional output.

I have Kleynjans's "A l'aube du Dernier Jour" and "Suite Bresilienne"
and they are great.
I also find Duarte's "English Suite" and "Danserie No. 3" very good
pieces.

Their output, especially Kleynjans's, is rather large. What in your
opinion, in addition to fore-mentioned pieces, are these composers'
best compositions?

For those interested....Work is completed regarding the 6 selections
from Partita I. The MP3 for the last Double of the Partita is updated.

AFAIK, these works have never been fleshed out in this manner, since
there is little in the way of "other" reference. After doing the work, I
looked around in the various scores I have, libraries, etc and they are
usually simple guitar versions of the original scores. Our individual
publications for each BWV will contain the "urtext" as well as the full
realizations. So far, they all play wonderfully, (even better than my 25
year old notes!...holy crapazoid...it's been that long...doh) and sound
fantastique. This one is a real gem. 9 pieces to go for final editing...my
brain is melting :-)
