Rush is about the stupidest band who ever walked.

Nothing to offer but carefully coordinated rubbish.

I had Beatles sound clips for mail, startup. etc. Now they disappeared. I
went to sounds on the control panel and only a few options to associate with
sounds are listed, the default sound schemes are even gone. Anyone got an
answer for me? thanks in advance.

THE BEATLES inspired me in so many ways. They opened my eyes and ears and
mind. They introduced me to a world I was unfamiliar with. They helped me to
see the *bigger picture* in Life.

My *creative life* I attribute to their example. They showed me
possibilities. And they made such an exhilarating, exalted, and
life-enhancing *noise*.

Though our individual paths are varied...some strewn with flowers while
others are rocky and precarious...I want to share ideas and stories, and
appreciation of THE BEATLES with others of like mind.

For me the *Hope* Jeff speaks of is reinforced in me, having experienced the
time I've had *With The Beatles*.

I enjoy sharing that experience (in all its various incarnations) with
other folks who want to share their affection for...

THE GREATEST BAND EVER.

(Right now there is a newsstory on the TV about The Beatles and the Linda
McCartney photo show in London.)

The *dream* may be over, but the REALITY lives on.

...besides...gazing from my window, you appear to be good *folks*...!

  SHEA STADIUM CLOSING

Author: Tony
Date: Apr 14, 2008 17:40

Shea Stadium in New York City is shutting down after the 2008 baseball
season.

The Beatles concert at Shea Stadium on August 15, 1965, was the first
concert to be held at a major outdoor stadium and set records for
attendance and revenue generation. Over 55,000 people saw the show.

Shea will close after the Mets' 2008 season; the team moves to the new
Citi Field in 2009. The Flushing, N.Y. stadium has been used as a
concert venue only occasionally -- most famously, when the Beatles
played there in 1965 and 1966.

Other Shea headliners have included Bruce Springsteen & the E Street
Band, the Who, the Rolling Stones, Elton John and the Police.

Billy Joel will be the last artist to play at New York's Shea Stadium
with two concerts, July 16th and July 18, billed as "The Last Play at
Shea, From the Beatles to Billy." Joel would become the fourth artist to
play multiple shows at Shea since its opening in 1964, joining the
Beatles (1965 and 1966), the Rolling Stones (1989), Elton John with Eric
Clapton (1992) and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (2003).

RMB Is A Tough Community, But...

Author: Bip Bop

I just wanted to say that RMB is a really tough community to
communicate in!
There are a few (just a few) sore and sour souls who find fault
with anything and everything, but there are also A LOT of really good
people as well like: RichL, Really Real, O'Leary III, The Walrus Was
Danny, Saki, Fatts, Donna (TAR), Looking Glass, Lizz Holmans, Jeff,
Black Pool Jimmy, Crisstti, and Sean and many others, who fight
against the undertow of negative comments that try to swept all of the
possibilities of The Beatles Newsgroup out to NOT SEA.

To all who consistently try to keep this newsgroup afloat and on-
topic, I just want to say a big, and most grateful, "Thank you!"

"It's all too much for me to take
The love that's shining all around you
Everywhere, it's what you make
For us to take, it's all too much."

Vegas to Mills: Take Your Leg and Shove It

Posted Apr 13th 2008 3:50AM by TMZ Staff

One-legged celebridiot Heather Mills should really stay far, far away:
just ask the crowds in Vegas.

Heather was booed by the audience when she was introduced at the Miss
USA pageant this weekend, but appeared unmoved during the broadcast.
It appears that the cold-blooded Brit has gotten used to all the
negative feedback. Later that night, Heather seemed unconcerned by her
dwindling popularity and danced the night away.

The Donald, who hired Heather for the beauty gig, says "America wants
more Heather Mills." Mind you, he also thought "Celebrity Apprentice"
was a good idea.

Doors should be ahead of CCR, Byrds and most likely #2.

When you see Steely Dan at #8, you know how good the American bands
were..... LOL

Should be higher
