Big Brown won.
Unfortunately the second place filly had to be put down with shattered
ankles.
Hey...I was in the sun all day.

Yesterday. That's an apt description for the Beatles these days. I
miss everything about them, their music, who they were and their place
in time. Times were so much different back then. It was the free
loving 60's which I yearn for. Not all of this pop rock, hip-hop
nigger music that the youngsters of today seem to embrace.
Yes, I wrote that. I'm fed up! I want to sleep in the back of a
converted VW van, smoke weed and pass psychodelic gas while reading
about Timothy Leary. I want to suck some chick's banana shaped tits
while she writhes around on top of me singing Love Me Do.
Screw the establishment. 1969, take me back!

Paul looks and sounds a tad bit stoned in this video clip about his
wish for everyone to stop being mean to psychedelic people because
everyone wants to be them.
Question to consider: Is this the same interview where Paul told
everyone how much LSD he has done over the years?

Which (if any) Lennon/McCartney tunes performed by the Beatles had John sing
lead where Paul is the primary author, or vice versa?

I've seen Paul on many occasions now and it is always great,
but during the 70s, whatever it is..... it WAS there. Stunning is the
Love that stirs in his presence. Here in his first Houston appearance
around '76, for instance, I'll never forget the time during the
concert at what was then called The Summit, some stranger, coming back
to his seat just down from me, while Paul was performing "You Gave Me
the Answer", looks at me truly affected by the tangibly, magical
spectacle that was going on all around us, all because one 'Paul
McCartney' was on stage, and asks me, "What's happening?" He was
truly wondering , and stood amazed, but all I could answer was, "I
don't know", but WE KNEW. We were in the presence of one of THEM!
These are special people who can bring this kind of feeling to us like
The Beatles can.
George Harrison brought it once to what is now Hofeinz
Pavillion on the campus of The University of Houston, and when the
house lights were turned up full for "My Sweet Lord" being sung by
Hymn....Him....The Presence....George Harrison...OhNoNotHimAgain! It
was incredible! You know how it is when words fail one? My soon to
be wife said, "I feel like I've been here before, and SUDDENLY the
very air was filled with an ETERNAL NOW! That was the power of The ...
