Nile and Bernie were pretty influential in the late 70's and throughout
the '80's. Lots of artists wanted to have their production stamp on
their records. Many of them were successful. Money was made. (Some by me.)

  While (Harrison's) Sitar gently weeps

Last night was a real gas. I had in my possession two premium tickets to
a local sporting event. The tickets were Gold tickets which enables the
bearer to have choice parking, seats and to also eat for free at a
lavish buffet that was fit for a king. I am a King. I took fellow
fartologist, Dan Withroe along. Dan is well known in brown circles as a
man that can repeatedly deliver the goods when others pass one of two
good farts and then peter out.
I'm no slouch myself. We arrived at the stadium around 5:45PM. The game
didn't start until 7:00 so this gave us a full hour and 15 minutes to
load up on prime rib, shrimp, oysters, wonderful antipasto salads and a
regular feast of fresh fruit and rich desserts. I personally made 4
trips to the buffet. I think Dan did too. About 6:50, we each had a dark
beer and made our way to our seats. On the way there, we farted with
reckless abandon! It was so noisy that there was no need to conceal our
smelly efforts. I think I set a new record for myself. 27 farts. All of
them loud and wet. Dan really stepped up to the plate too. We were both
giggling like two 12 year olds. I took great pleasure in farting on
table after table of Detroit's snobbiest of the snobby. It was quite an
evening. I think I'll buy season tickets! Dan let out a string of four
wet ones as he walked into crowds passing by us in the opposite ...

Help me find a copy of a beatles line drawing, Please

Author: Joe B

I think I first saw it around 1969 in an ad in Billboard magazine, but
It's turned up a few times since. The four Beatles in a line from
left to right. I may not have all the details correct but I'll know
it when I see it. I remember it as one continuous line (black on
white) that drew heads and shoulders. I think it was from around the
time of the white album. No shades of gray, just black and white. I
used to have many Beatles pictures on my computer, but I lost them all
in a hard drive crash.

Any one know of a link to the picture I'm describing (not very well)?

How about any other quality picture sites?

  Across the Universe

I went to see the movie, Across the Universe last night, and I must say,
I was utterly dazzled. Julie Taymor has created quite a masterpiece
indeed! By combining the genre of Broadway musical with rock videos and
recapturing the history of the late 60s with a love story, Across the
Universe becomes both a great rock movie and a wonderful updating of
Beatles music. The acting and singing in the movie is excellent, and
especially the early Beatles songs came alive in a whole new way for me.
The 60s era of Vietnam and revolutionary violence at home also came
crashing back to me, reminding me of the documentary about the Weather
Underground. Thus, Across the Universe is an important movie, both
culturally and politically. This movie is the kind of event that I would
think Beatles fans...
