Poll: What GA set up would you prefer?

On the upcoming tour, I am assuming that (1) there will be at least
some GA section in front of the stage; (2) the stage will be a
traditional set up -- no ramp or U2 heart shape. So, for those who
are into GA and have ideas about the best set up and the best way of
configuring the floor, controlling scalping, and deciding who among
the GA ticketholders can stand where, my question is as follows:

If it were up to you to dictate the GA policy for the upcoming tour,
what system would you implement?

600 short people (below 5'5") in the pit, protected by a ring of tall
people (or Yetti's, as a tall friend calls herself)

Bruce might get more women gazing at him that way.....

I'd prefer that specific GA PIT tix are sold.

If they must sell all the tix as GA, then it should be first come/
first in the pit...no scanning or lottery where luck determines your
fate. If somebody wants to put in the effort of waiting outside the
venue, then they get in first.

By "GA PIT", I take it you mean sell only some small number of GA
tickets (300 or so), but gurantee that each is in the front "pit" area
regardless of when one shows up at the venue? If I am lucky enough to
buy a coupel of "pit" tickets on the onsale date from TM -- am I free
to sell them to you or someone else?

But if having a GA section in front of the stage "does nothing for his
show", why do you think he may end up selling tix that way?

Assuming they sell the whole floor (maybe 2000 tickets) as GA and are
determined (presumably for safety reasons) to have a "pit" of 500 or
so at the front of the stage, is there some third option that could be
followed? (besides "first come first served"
-- which generates the
line problem and "random scanning" -- which many people seem to have a
problem with).

GA pit approx 8-10 rows in depth.

All GA tickets get into pit.

GA line begins at 3:00 pm each day.

Rest of floor reserved seats.

Let there be rock.
