I LOVE it when artists do the unexpected, like Ryan did last night as
you reported. Last year when my wife and I saw Wilco at the Basie
they had some equipment problems about 1/2 way through the show (blew
out something important). After a few minutes of waiting the band
walked off the stage (pee break?) but Tweedy went and grabbed an
acoustic, walked to the front of the stage with his feet hanging over
and asked everyone to be quiet (and everyone did) and he then played a
song without any amplification. It was wonderful.....
