I don't care if people say it's "son of Blackbird", it's a great song in
itself. None of these 20-something singer-songwriters could write it.

I love Macca.... voice as pure as love... I always preferred Paul to John
because I love a great melody over a great lyric. That's just me. What about
you? Melody or lyrics?

Fab video I just put up on You Tube. It's a slide show to go along with
a song that I wrote a few years ago as a tribute to John Lennon. It's
received some radio play in Canada and Europe on the anniversary of
John's death and I'd like to share it with as many people as possible.
As the Beatles didn't actually do a tribute to John Lennon as a group
we thought we would be cheeky and do one for them. Hope you like it.

"Beautiful" song. Very Rod Stewart-esque, though...?

Wicked, eh. Nudge nudge wink wink.
Damn quick wit, especially at 64.

Has anyone heard this track? It's from a George Michael duets album
which I don't think is out in the US. Paul sings most of it with George
Michael singing in places. It's quite a good song which would actually
have fit very well musically and lyrically on Chaos and Creation,
although it's actually an older Michael song he had done on one of his
solo albums years earlier. (It may have been a hit in some place
--my
girlfriend, who is Asian, knew the song, but I don't recall ever hearing
the original here in the US.)
Anyway, well worth tracking down if you haven't heard it.
