Like its 1912 predecessor, the Polyplan, Movado's Elliptica showcases
an elongated curved rectangular case topped with a fluted steel crown
at the 12 o'clock position. The architecture is sleek and modern,
while the crown placement hearkens to an earlier era of watchmaking
design. This ultra-sleek diamond version showcases a white mother-of-
pearl dial with graduated silvertone bar indicators and two silvertone
hands. The dial is capped with a virtually scratch-proof sapphire
crystal and set in a 16 mm by 3 mm brushed and polished steel case
accented with fourteen genuine diamonds. The case is shaped to fit the
contours of the wrist and presented on a beautiful stainless steel
bracelet. An elegant accent for any occasion, this Movado timepiece is
driven by Swiss quartz precision and rated water resistant to 30
meters.
