I wonder how bad the research was on the rest of the article.

Am I reading this right? The major violence was one person getting shot.
Presumably, the two getting stabbed constitutes only minor violence, and the
bar brawl was just a sideshow.

How about this:

What's that supposed to mean? That HOG, for instance, is a "gang"?
"Once percenter" is a term that came into use after an *alleged*
public statement by the American Motorcyclist Association.
From: http://ijms.nova.edu/November2005/IJMS_Artcl.Dulaney.html
The _Life_ story [about Hollister] caused something of a tumult
around the country (Yates), and some authors have asserted that
the AMA subsequently released a press statement disclaiming
involvement in the Hollister event, stating that 99% of motorcyclists
are good, decent, law-abiding citizens, and that the AMAÂ’s ranks
of motorcycle clubs were not involved in the debacle (e.g., Reynolds,
Thompson).

If you're that ignorant of it, I would suggest you steer clear
of anyone wearing a black leather vest with insignia on it.

Don't forget, we're all terrorists according to Donald Rumsfield, why
not gang members while we're at it.

Here's another bummer article regarding this year's rally.

Associated Press
http://www.contracostatimes.com/mld/cctimes/15236004.htm
STURGIS, S.D. - An Illinois biker was stabbed to death on a shuttle
bus taking campers to Sturgis for the annual motorcycle rally,
authorities said.
Frank L. Rosanova, 51, of Ingleside, Ill., was rushed to Sturgis
Regional Hospital after the incident late Tuesday night at the
entrance to the Creek Side Campground. He died of an apparent stab
wound to the neck, according to the Meade County Sheriff's Office.
Several people were on the bus at the time of the stabbing.
Deputies arrested Stephen Bruce Campbell, 52, of Belton, Mo., and
booked him in the Meade County jail on a second-degree murder charge.

Good point. I missed that detail.
