Not sure why someone would sink $25K into a 70's Japanese bike, but
the result is pretty impressive... http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/mcy/755699100.html

How to Cure Slow Leak in My Front Tire?

Author: David T. Ashley
Date: Jul 15, 2008 10:07

After new tires at the dealer, I'm losing about 3 PSI a week in the front.

Suggestions?

I was thinking about replacing the valve inner thingie just to see if that
stops it (don't think it will).

Since it is a tube tire, I could just put goop in it (not the technical
name, I'm sure), and I would trash the tube but stop the leak. Tubes are
cheap ...

If it were a bicycle tire, it would be headed for my bathtub, but a
motorcycle tire is a bit more work ...

Any thoughts?

  Hawaii

I'm over on Oahu, in Waikiki. Renting a Heritage Softtail on Wednesday to
cruise around the island for 9 hours.

Will a Harley cruise for nine hours? I know my ST and Bandit will but the
wife refused to let me bring either one, thus the Harley rental.

Just kidding about the bike running for nine hours w/o problems. I know the
new ones are reliable.

Anyway, looking forward to cruising the big brute. Any tips?

Aloha ;-)
