I took most of
the dihedral out of the wing while building.. It is a great flying
high wing plane. I have floats for it too. The floats need to be
finished and painted.

Joe Bridi- Warlord 25 with a magnum 32 engine. Great little low wing
sport plane. You cant get this kit anymore. I built 3 of them..

Global- trainer 40 with a magnum 40. Only had one flight. This is the
only plane I will sell complete with engine and radio. a Hitec focus 4
radio on channel 39.

Kits-
Joe Bridi- Sunfly 4 60 size Complete kit ready to be built.

Joe Bridi- Utter Chaos 60 size. I have the fiberglass fuselage for
it. the rest needs to be built from the balsa wood.

I have allot of balsa wood parts, great planes hardware, props,
controls- mainly for 40-60 size airplanes. Covering irons, covering.
Slot tool, wing jig.

I have one K&B .61 with the gold twist on head with the tuned muffler.
I also have the sport muffler for it.
There are so many different options, and the specs are often
incomplete. From my research it seems that the kv number
that all of the brushless motors provide is an incomplete
specification. From what I read what really counts is the
Watts of power, and Watts per pound ranges from 50 to 250
depending on the performance desired. Is there any way to
convert the kv number into Watts?

What other things need to be considered? (motor diameter,
the shaft diameter, the shaft length, RPMs, torque, volts,
amps draw)
I don't know what the final weight of my Slow Stick will be,
I am guessing that it will be somewhere near a pound. It may
go as high as two pounds with a heavy motor and battery. I
am shooting for the best performance for the least cost,
thus I am starting with NiMh batteries.

The best guess options chosen so far:
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=5220&Product_Name...(130S)_4300kv_Brushless_Inrunner

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKKK7&P=X#partsusage

http://www.stevensaero.com/GWS-Outrunner-Brushless-Motor-2212-13T-GWBLM003A-p-18330...

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=4178&Product_Name...

A great saftey idea for the pages of RC Report (8/2007)

THROTTLE LOCK FOR ELECTRICS

The complexity of the programming will depend on your transmitter and your
familiarity with its requirements.
Note that you must have a computer transmitter with a free mix available,
and the ability to assign the mix to the switch you want to use for the
throttle lock.
You must also be familiar with setting up a mix on your radio. During the
programming I recommend using a servo connected to the throttle channel
instead of an ESC, to make it easier and safer to see what's going on. I'm
using an Airtronics Infinity 660 and a Futaba 9CAP, and the only difference
is in the mixing points.
First the mix should be throttle to throttle, and set the Rate to -100%% for
up and down stick.

Next, comes the mixing point, which is set to the fully closed throttle
stick setting. For Airtronics it's -100%%, and for the Futaba it's 0%% offset.
This is usually set by pressing the input key with the throttle in the fully
closed position.
Make sure the trim is zeroed.. With the 9CAP you have to hold down the Dial
key for one second to input the value (Boy did I ever have to play around to
learn that! Just try finding it in the manual!).
Now all that's left is to assign a switch of your choice. I use a switch on
the left with its down position being "locked", and its up position being
"motor enabled".
You may choose to
