Well mainly business as usual. The Big Easy is back. To understand what is
going there I will have to remind you of what went on before. New Orleans,
for all its glitter, before Katrina had become a third world city. The
Police force was so corrupt it had to be taken over by the FBI and they
never did clean it up all the way. Several New Orleans Police were convicted
of serving as security for a cocaine warehouse. 1/3 of the NOPD abandoned
New Orleans just prior to Katrina. The educational systems was so bad that a
private firm had taken it over in an attempted turn around. The recently
elected New Orleans District Attorney fired all the whites working in the
DA's office. The middle class whites had all left and the middle class
blacks were now bailing out too. The only people left in New Orleans were
the very rich,the very poor, and the tourist. The poor were housed in huge
federal housing complexes, built on cheap low ground, and provided the votes
to keep the politicians here in office. The joke was you could bus them to
the polls but not out of town ( 700 school buses went under water).
When Katrina hit the Mayor failed to issue a evac order timely. He wanted
tourist dollars. I told my niece, she was a grad student there, to get out
Saturday morning. The Mayor issued the order Sunday morning.
The storm hit. Everyone thought New Orleans had dodged the bullet again.
Hurricane parties started. The Levees broke. The Governor told the President ...

Why don't you provide some details....who was this person, when and where? Did he
just *claim* to be a sports fighter, or did he actually have credentials?
