Depends on what you mean by eventually. Recent
discussion mentions that the chances of getting an
artifact from a death drop starts about 1-in-9610
corpses and drops as the number of existing
artifacts increases. On the one hand there's no
restriction on which artifacts get created. On the
other hand it takes an enormous and growing
number of corpses before you might get any one
specific artifact.

G-Mon already posted the formula. Once a sac can
generate an artifact (starting after reconciliation) the
first gift is specified by some classes. For the other
classes it's one of your current alignment (not any of
the unaligned ones and racially appropriate - elves
don't get orcish artifacts and vice versa. Starting with
the second one you can get any of the co-aligned ones,
any of the unaligned ones, none of the cross-aligned
ones.

That still leaves all of the cross-aligned ones only
accessible by death drop during farming.

It would take so much pudding farming there's risk of
running out of memory or disk space from the death
drop items not artifacts. Folks already report page
after page of items.
