Is this the $10,000 one?

interesting inter-modal issues. Will this really pose no risk to cyclists,
as TFL claims, or would that risk be smaller than the risk posed to

cyclists? Is there sort of thing standard

As a long time lurker of this newsgroup, recent developments (namely,
the creation of a webforum on adom.de) is forcing me to pronounce this
newsgroup dead.
r.g.r.a did live live a long and fruitful life however.
Countless YAGBUs, YAVPs and more has been posted here.
The epic flame war of the IGB.
The epic flame war of AdomBot.
And much much more.
If anyone feels like writing a proper euology for my faveourite usenet
group, please post below.

Dear froup,
Lately, I found I've spent less time on ADOM, though I still very much enjoy
playing it occasionally. Moreover, there is lots of activity on the new
forums at adom.de, and frankly I don't feel inclined to get involved in this
community. I feel it's time to retire as FAQ maintainer.
Fortunately, I think I've found a suitable candidate to continue the job.
Darren Grey is active on the forums, the newsgroup, and the IRCNet #adom
channel. He has indicated to be willing to take over maintainership.
As a matter of procedure, I hereby inform you of my retirement; I think the
ultimate decision of a new maintainer rests with you, though I trust you'll
agree with my proposal.
Best regards,
Léon (aka Oliphaunt)

Out of the many times I have played in ADOM, Randomi progressed the
farthest. I was getting tired of playing the same types of
characters, so I decided to roll a completely random one. Randomi
ended up as a Female High Elf Fighter, a rather illogical
combination. After entering the Small Cave, she quickly descended
into the Unremarkable Dungeon, finding several decent pieces of
equipment along the way due to her talents as a treasure hunter. On
level 6 of the UD her luck faltered when she uncovered a tension room
full of Karmic Lizards. She managed to dispatch several of them with
a Wand or Magic Missiles she was carrying, but was unable to pass the
room with no Melee blows, and was thererefore Cursed and Doomed. She
was not to be stopped by such petty things however, and pressed on to
the Mountaintop Village, where she sold several unneeded items and
resupplied with food. She then left the village through a barely used
tunnel, and found herself in the wild. On this leg of her journey she
was relentlessly assaulted by Jackelwares, barbarians, wolves and
several other unpleasant beasts. Still not deterred, she pressed on
to discover a tunnel into the depths of the earth. The first level of
caverns was no problem, there was a room full of goblins, but
otherwise few foes. She found a staircase down, and followed it in ...

The FAQs and other files are there as before.
There is a new zipped compilation of the HTML available.

I've read that if it's your birthday you can make a wish. How does
that happen?

My first win after trying out 1.1.1 over 1.0.0
I don't know if the item destruction is higher in 1.1.1, but I
experienced an extremely high rate of destroyed gear compared to my
numerous previous games. Swear to god every time i got near an acid
trap...

Is it just me, or is Andy's page down again? I noticed in an earlier
discussion that he would be up for renewal soon, and that there might
be some 'changes'. Anyone else notice this, or is it just a local
problem?
