Just an update, Stewarts in Northfield NJ just got HS2 in! So, the 4
pins are IJ4, HS2, CFTBL and DINER, all in fantastic shape. Great
place for food (burgers, hot dogs, cheesesteaks, ice cream, etc) and
pinball. They have Donkey Kong, Centipede, and a few more vids too.
Anybody who comes is impressed at the shape the games are in.
About 15 mins from Atlantic City. On Tilton Rd in Northfield.
Come play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Played an IJ4 on location, it was perfect, except for "operator alert"
about the upper left MAP saucer.
Talked to the operator. Saucer kickout coil was working perfectly. A
little too perfectly, in fact.
If the kickout is strong enough, and the playfield clean enough, the
ball will bounce back INTO the saucer, causing a re-kick.
Enough re-kicks, and the software will believe the saucer is broken,
and disable the saucer, making the MAP area less fun.
This happened on location because the machine was brand-new, just out
of the box, so all mechanisms were strong and the playfield was very
clean.
I have a request. Can a strength-adjusting algorithm please be placed
into the kickout for this saucer, just like the VUK to the upper level
on TSPP and LOTR?
That will solve the problem of bouncebacks into the saucer, and the
game will no longer falsely think the saucer coil is broken.
Thank you Stern!
Josh

So I sprung for the kit to have the Tiger Saw spin, however I opted
for the kit that simply made the saw spin when the captive ball rolls
over the switch in it's lane. I used a metal saw, but after it still
seemed to be missing something. I thought perhaps some lights might
help, so I added 2 Green and 2 Red LED's in back of the saw.
I wasn't sure how this would look in the final result, so the install
is kind of a hack/proof of concept (poc sound better :-)). I would
hope to go back and clean it up, though you have no idea when you play
the game - only if you look behind the saw. I would think a little
plate with the LED's mounted on it, bolted to the main plate would be
kind of a nice idea... or a circuit board in kind of an arc shape
behind the tiger bracked... but I digress... Here are some pictures of
my mod. I liked the effect and when my family played it they thought
it was neat.

Anyone post a guide. I have trying to match a fastener to a hole.
It is the hole immediately to the right of the coffin lock insert. It
is threaded and is the rear hole on the ramp leg.
Thanks for any help.

I'm getting a BK2K, and thought it would be nice to have another Sys
11 to go with it. Which is better, ES or FH? I'm guessing FH, but
have never played ES - and I have a chance to get a nice one. Anyone
want to trade?

Their website states they will be forwarding a list letting people
know the order that playfields will be completed. Has anyone received
this list? If so, could you forward it to me please.
Thanks
Gerry
