Aloha! Looking for pinball in Oahu

Author: ron
Date: May 9, 2008 22:48

Looking at prior posts the answer seems to be there is no place to
play pinball in Paradise. Has anybody gone recently and found any
place to play or been to the local "Tilt" arcades at the Windward Mall
(Kaneohe) or Pearlridge Center (Aiea) and advise if it is worth going?

If there are any local collector's in Oahu please feel free to e-mail
me off-line and this kamaaina wanna-be will be happy to grab some
grinds with you at Ethel's Grill or Helena's (my treat) and talk
pinball. Be happy to reciprocate whenever you're in the San Francisco
Bay Area.

  WTB NIB Congo

Author: Mike G
Date: May 9, 2008 21:47

Sorry if this is spamming the group with all the posts... Not sure if
one exists but...I would trade my shopped out Scared Stiff along with
a new CFTBL playfield, decals and plastic set for a NIB Congo. Not
interested in a fully restored one for this deal.

If one does not exist, I am willing to buy/trade for a 9.9/10 cabinet
or a NIB kit with full cab art. Or just the side art from the kit.
The side art, from what I understand is black and white.

Again, sorry if this seems like I am spamming, I just love the game
and wanna have a premo example.

Thanks for your understanding!

Playmeter 1979 article about some really obscure pins

Author: josh.kaplan1

http://www.gamearchive.com/Pinball/Oldies/cc_081579/
This is a really neat article I found by Roger C. Sharpe featuring
info on some of the more obscure late 70's games.

(Anybody own or ever heard of a "Screech" pin)?

Enjoy.
