I had heard about a month ago that CAEX was going to be held the third
week in July. I was crossing my fingers that wasn't going to be the
case, but to my dismay, it's now officially posted on their site.
July 19-20, and I will be out of state, coming home on July 21st!

I'm hoping this can be settled - I paid Joseph back in early April for a
set of pop caps - which were never sent...now I cannot contact him - his

Just got this game in (love it by the way) and I would really like to
fix the left flipper. The previous owner installed the higher power
coil on the left hand flipper and now the flipper has no "hold". I
mean, even with the ball just slowly moving and hitting the flipper it
bounces. Then sometimes you don't have full range of motion for the
next shot, it can be a real pain it the you know what. Any
suggestions? The flipper switch seems to be OK, it works 100%% of the
time and the not holding thing is 100%% of the time so I think I have
an issue other than the switch contacts. Any help is appreciated.

How long does it take the smell of this stuff to go away? Does the game
really smell neutral once the smell of the spray goes away?

Someone brought a Fire by here on Saturday for repair. I went into another
room to get something and came back into the room with the pin and the odor
about floored me. I asked him about it, he'd sprayed the inside of the cab
with the odor eliminator spray. The musty, smokey reimport smell didn't
bother me, but the smell of the spray sure did!

Got back to the game tonight. The glass has been off since Saturday. Opened
the coin door and it about knocked me over again. I coughed a couple times
and closed the coin door.

Maybe he put a little too much spray in the cabinet?

Looking forward to the Fire! going home - although it's a bit more fun than
I remembered it being. Replace the player 4 display and it's done!

Of course, the smell of Febreeze bugs me sometime, so maybe I've just got a
funky nose!

I'm interested in a Bally Mystic, and I was curious what the sounds are
like. Are they just beeps and boops, or are they cool sci-fi sounds like
some of the other pins released in 1980 (like Blackout and Black Hole for
example)?
