  Tech: CP LEDs

Are the Champion Pub LEDs for "Your Life" and "His Life" protected by
a fuse at all? I get no lights and cannot seem to find any fuses that
are blown. Wanted to check the easy stuff first before tearing into
it, so thought I would ask.

Any help appreciated.

  WTB: WPC-89 Sound Board

Author: John Wart, jr

Trying to repair one that has a fair amount of corrosion on it (appears to
have been wet, not battery leakage) and getting frustrated. Solder won't
flow. Meter can't get accurate readings to test things.

Starting to think I'd be better off getting a working board than putting
anymore time into this one.

Whatcha got?

Switch Target Grease - What to use?

Author: warp9pinball

I have a Williams STTNG. It is time for a cleaning. Manual also says
to:

1) use a medium viscosity oil (switch target grease) for lubricating
the ball release mechanism.
2) lubricate the slingshots
3) lubricate the 'target blades of the drop targets' with MBI
Instrument Grease (Drop Target Switch Lubricant - Williams' part
number EI165)

Do these all require the same lubricant? What should I use?

White Lithium Grease?

What about Bally Hydrotex Deluxe Lube (sold by Pinball Life)?

Twilight Zone, what to look for.

Author: kyle051777

Hi everybody,
I am going to look at a twilight zone and just want to know what to
look for. Things I do know are the clock doesn't work, the cabinet is
in good shape with no fade. I am told the game fully works except for
the clock. All flippers are strong. No playfield wear.

Anyways any other info would be helpful.
Thanks,
Kyle

Funspot tournament is underway in New Hampshire

Author: David Marston
Date: May 29, 2008 21:04

This is the tenth year of the "Classic Games" tournament at Funspot at
Weirs Beach, NH. The tournament is in a separate room (previously known
as the golf simulator room) and has 6 pinballs involved. Of those six,
two are not in the regular line-up of about 35 pinballs:
Bally Sky Kings
Atari Time 2000
The other four games are:
Bally Paragon
Bally Mata Hari (SS)
Bally Kiss
Atari Middle Earth
All the games have minor problems. The tournament runs all day Friday
and Saturday, and up through 5:00 PM on Sunday. Cash prizes are awarded.

Speaking of cash, the cheapest gas price I saw in the region was $3.839
for regular at the Irving station at Exit 20.
