  FS: NOS Clearcoated CV Playfield...

Author: John B. Estill
Date: Jan 29, 2008 23:07

Hello all,

I recently sold my CV pin, but retained the NOS playfield for it.

Here is a link to some photos:

http://usergallery.myhomegameroom.com/gallery/album305

I was clearcoated by Bill Davis, and has the T-nuts installed, and all
of the indexing points are present.

I can also provide a zip file, which contains the same pictures, in
the original high resolution format, for any interested parties.

It's a beauty!

Asking 2K -- negotiable.

Thanks for looking!

Best wishes,
John in Seattle

  ISO: High Speed wiring harness

Author: zosofan
Date: Jan 29, 2008 22:35

hey gang,

de-hacking my high speed.

i'm looking for the piece of wiring harness from the on/off switch up
to and including the 9 pin connector on the input side of the
transformer. Alternately, if anyone knows the part number of this 9
pin connector, i could rebuild it.

also, i know this has probably been asked before, but is there any
source for the multi-colored striped wire. i have some gi outs that
are toasty and i would like to keep the same colored wire if possible.

eye thank ewe

FS: 1976 Bally Old Chicago Pinball, $1200.00, Los Angeles Area

Author: markand
Date: Jan 29, 2008 22:24

For sale, 1976 Bally's "Old Chicago". With Dave Christensen's racy
graphics, art deco styling, and prohibition powered pop bumpers, makes
this a game for the "adult" player.

This Old Chicago is in really nice condition for it's 31 years. The
backglass is nearly perfect and the playfield is gorgeous.

The Cabinet and the head have fading, as typical for this game, and
vendor scuffs but is solid and original.

I have replaced all the solenoids for the pop bumpers, and the
flippers have been overhauled with all new parts. All new posts,
targets, ball guides, flipper bats, rubber and power cord has been
installed. All new #47 bulbs were installed on the top of the
playfield, and on the head.

The playfield was completely stripped and cleaned with Novus 2, then 4
coats of Mother's Carnuba was applied to the playfield. All hardware
was hand polished.

Gameplay and all functions work and are strong.

Really, what other Multiplayer EM Bally pinball game has 5 Pop
bumpers, 5 drop Targets, 2 outholes, a spinner, an over the top
Buzzer, extra balls, and specials?

WH20 - Green Target wiring HELP!

Author: Rare Hero
Date: Jan 29, 2008 22:23

Could someone w/ a WH20 be so kind as to look in their machine and
tell me where the plain green wire on the right green lock target is
supposed to go?

I decided to replace my broken green lock targets tonite...as I was
cutting the wires off the right green target, the plain green wire
(not the green w/ yellow stripe) just fell off ...like, the other end
just wasn't connected to anything! There's a blob of solder on the
other end, which means it was connected to SOMETHING....I'm not sure
if it's just been dangling the whole time or what.

Thank you very much!

  TZ Sanity Check

I jut installed a new slot scoop and now notice there's a delay when
balls that pass through the skill scoop kind of just sit in the slot
for a few seconds. I could've sworn there was at least a visual cue
when the ball was being released from the slot on the missed skill
shot.

The slot is registering shots, so it I guess my mind could be playing
tricks on me. Is what I'm seeing normal?

Thanks!

Tech: T3 Turning Attract Mode Off

Author: AGVP
Date: Jan 29, 2008 20:54

I was wondering if there is a way to turnoff attract mode on newer
Stern games. I have a T3 that every little while it shoots the RGP
cannon in the backbox, when the game is not being played. I didn't see
it in the menu options. Thanks in advance.

  The Way to Paradise

Author: algagaa
Date: Jan 29, 2008 20:52

We are all in quest of true happiness. In this world, the idea of
true/perfect happiness is not feasible because this world is
inevitably doomed to total annihilation. True happiness is found only
in dwelling upon Paradise, and enjoying its blessings. However, none
would enter Paradise except the purified (those who are void of sins,
void of an atom of grudge or malignance). Since Paradise is created
only for the purified/pious, those who have evil looks (looking
lustfully at strange women, and vice versa), who envy others, treat
their fellowmen badly, hate mankind, or backbite cannot enter
Paradise. To conclude, none can enter Paradise unless totally
purified (sin-free).
