Re: Tech- Bally solenoid expander board

If had this problem in the past and and it was a "power" problem. In my
case, replacing the Lamp BR solved it.
N.B. It could also be a bad connection somewhere for lamp power. Check the
fuse holders to see if they are overheating and reflow solder on any header
pins involved in distributing the lamp power.

if he was really getting out of the hobby, he'd have prices on his
games that would actually sell. Not what he has into them.

  Ultimate MPU strange issues

Author: Corey C.
Date: Jan 26, 2008 23:15

I have an early revision Ultimate MPU from Alltek Systems in my
Meteor. I've tried this board in my Lectronamo and it seems to be
working just fine, but when it's in the Meteor, it will boot up with
strange display activity. The credit display will occasionally be
blank or will display anywhere from 4 to 99 credits. The other
displays will occasionally show zeros in the right two digits, but
when it alternates to the High Score to Date, the displays will go
blank or will show some funky numbers. I've cleared the memory on the
Ultimate MPU a couple of times. I've tested the displays in other
machines and they work fine.

Has anyone tried an Ultimate MPU in a Meteor and found there to be
strange issues with the displays in attract mode? They seem to be fine
during game play (although display #3 will occasionally do some funky
things - I don't think it's related).

Your comments would be appreciated!

Corey

I think I'd *pass* on the "features" designed
into this vendors products.

For my money, I'll stick to purchasing products
that "work".

(Now there's a "feature" for you.)

what do you think ? SCAM?

Thank you for your email. I still have it for sale but before i answer to any of your questions i have to let you know that i am in Canada right now visiting my parents ranch. That`s not a problem because i can still handle the transaction. When i left in Canada, i left the item along with several other items in the iSOLD It custody because i wanted to sell them on eBay when i return, but something came up back home and i decided to sell this one before i get back but not on ebay because i need to sell it faster. So if you are still interested let me know because i can make the transaction immediately. Just let me know and i will explain all the details of the transaction...

Thanks

Glenda
