Greetings Pinheads,
I have a WH20 that had had some shoddy repairs on it. I have it
running fairly well now, but the No Way Out ball popper 9/10 times
fails to get the ball all the way over the top and into play. It is
even worse when there is more than one ball trying to get out.
I have rebuilt the popper itself (Cap, shaft, sleeve, spring), and it
seems 100%%,all three opto switches are good also.
The wire ramp/tube was totally loose when I got the game, the holes
were stripped & wrong screws installed.
I have it screwed down solidly now, but it seems mis-aligned when it
is screwed down. The end of the wire tube has a pin that plugs into
the top of the mutiball assembly for proper alignment, but when I
tighten either or both screws the tube rotates slightly clockwise, and
the alignment pin raises up and out of the hole.
The tube does not look bent in any way, and I even tried to adjust the
'feet' where the 2 screws hold it down, but this wire is solid!
With the screws in place and a bit loose, I can push the tube back
down so it contacts the Popper/Multiball assembly, and then every ball
ejects properly.
