FOR TRADE: lethal weapon 3 in michigan , can bring to expo

Author: 30 million (scarily said)

i have a perfectly playing shopped out from my collection lethal weapon
3 for trade. works 100%% perfect, clean playfield and display.
zero problems and it plays to a pro players expectations...........so
it means not only does it work perfect, the flippers are the correct
position, the switches are gapped correct, coils are nice and strong,
etc, ....nothing sloppy at all.
the reason i stress this , is because some people/operators who sell
pins dont actually PLAY pins. so to them a "working" pin is different
from a players perspective who want things to operate precise as new.

i am looking for:
congo
shadow
who dunnit

or? lmk what u have in trade.....
email me directly thow!!
i can deliver to expo....

  QuickScan80..System 80 help Part 2

Author: eagle4

I have been working on my Black Hole CPU with little luck in getting
it running, but in some strange way I like this stuff. Every chip I
remove and add a socket for is one less that I will ever have to do
again. I think I would remove and socket each chip on this board if I
could get it running again. Boy do I miss my game! Here is where I
am right now.

I have a good clock and reset signal, but the IRQ stays high. I just
removed Z5, U2, and U3 and put in sockets. With my QuickScan hooked up
and Z5,U2,U3,U4,U5,U6,and PROM 1 removed I get (1F 4F 5F...

  Williams Sys 7 40-pin connector

I have a Black Knight and I just got my boards back from the Coin-Op
Cauldron(who did great work by the way), and I'm installing the boards
tonite. Here's my question: do the driver and cpu boards have to sit flush
with one another via the 40-pin interboard connector? I installed the cpu
and driver boards, and the pins from the cpu board pushed through the driver
board female connector, I can see them all. However, there is about a
1/8-1/4 inch gap or less between the 2 boards, showing just a little bit of
the male header pins behind the driver board. Should I push the boards
together until the driver board sits flush on top of the cpu board, or is it
okay to leave that bit of space between them?

Thanks,
Trevor

My House. My Machines. MY TOP SCORES.

Author: Mark Teskey

Does anybody else get chapped when somebody else has top score on one
of your machines?

I had the high score on my Funhouse at about 25M (yeah, I know - only a
so-so score) for about two months. Last weekend, a good friend came to
stay with me for the weekend and proceeded to destroy my high score by
putting up a 52M. Okay, I get beating it by a million or two - but
doubling it is HUMILIATING!

So, how did I respond? A week of hard playing culminating in a score
of 55M tonight. Vengeance is mine.

My house. My machine. MY TOP SCORE.

-Mark.

Need to add a jumper to convert to english

I need to add a jumper on my CFTBL on W18. No problem with that. I
just am curious what the jumper is that is supposed to be used. The
other ones are white things (not sure if they are a diode, capacitor,
etc). What is supposed to be used as the jumper? Figured it's not
just a wire from point to point.

What makes Pinball so Addicting? Is there Really a magic number of Machines for a collection???

Author: sov20

I find myself saying when a machine comes around to buy, this is it for
a little while......I wont need another machine for awhile, then a
month later im looking for another machine......What is it about
pinball where no matter how many machines you have theres always
another one that you want......Or even that you dont really want but
because you see it as a deal you feel obligated to buy it
anyways....What makes pinball so addicting and is there a magic number
of machines for you guys out there that you feel is the perfect number
to have?? (if you have unlimted space) Anyways I thought it would be
interesting to hear what everybody has to say.

  Re: TECH: TZ slam tilt

So I have unplugged the magnet and played several games without any
slam tilt issues. I am not seeing any pinched wires around that
magnet, so any specific suggestions as to what to try to next to
diagnose this issue? The game plays 100%% perfect with the magnet
unplugged.

Thanks, Rob
