Frontier LPMUD is an old war horse in the realm of medieval role playing
games. Having first been established in 1991 and run successfully on
donated resources for several years, it was resurrected in January 1998.

In its previous incarnation, Frontier had some 400 registered players and
could boast of maxing out its simultaneous connection limit of 60 players
virtually any time of the day or night. Those were indeed heady days.

Today, however, Frontier is not so blessed. With a player base growing
ever thinner as it is spread out over more game servers than ever before,
it has become apparent that we must do more to make ourselves known.
