Susan Polgar writes on chessdiscussion.com at
http://www.chessdiscussion.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1267&start=10#p7618

"I immediately called the USCF ED 9-10 times long distance from
another country, when I found out about it last September."

She does not say what country she was in but we know the answer. She
was in Mexico City. We also know why she suddenly started calling the
USCF Executive Director 9-10 times long distance. It was because she
had been caught and she knew it.

She knew that the "Fake Sam Sloan" had been traced to a hotel in
Mexico City where she and her husband were staying, and that in fact
it had been traced to her own computer in her own hotel room.

More than anything else, this posting proves that Susan Polgar is just
as guilty as Paul Truong is.

The notion that I just up and released the information publicly is
false. For one thing, I did not release the information publicly.
I turned on a feature of this forum that enabled people to draw their
own conclusions as to the identity of the FSS poster, with some
pointing-in-the-right-direction from me. Based on the exposed IP
addresses, other people had posted the conclusion that FSS and Paul
Truong were the same before I did. I do not deny that this is
precisely what I expected and intended. Even after that happened, I
put my detailed conclusions in a private report to the Executive
Board, the so-called "Mottershead Report". I did not release that
report publicly, and have not since. [b]One or more...

Mottershead defends himself against Accusations by Perks

Grant Perks wrote:"Hal cites what he labels as three cases where

outcome was reached based on internal negotiations.

"Assuming as Kevin has posed, that an individual is privately
presented with all the apparent evidence. A guilty and even an
innocent person might considering doing the "right" thing based on the
evidence. Once the evidence is made public neither the innocent nor
most guilty individuals are going to be quick in doing what is
perceived as right.

"While the mechanism for an ethics committee ruling might have
been too slow for the "whistleblower" the internal negotiations should
have been given a chance to develop. Allowing the discussions a few
weeks, or even a few months to take place would likely have saved many
hours of staff time and provided some protection from the needless
expenses that have been incurred."
