in June at +$145, becoming the first person other than RS to win a

July Monthly Contest begins tomorrow, and includes all regular season
games in July as well as the All Star Game.
I was top scorer for the day on Monday at +$300. RS was also a winner

Yesterday: 0-4, -4.80 units
Season: 254-249, +0.25 units
So I was at +31.03 units not too long ago. Baseball is such a
streaky game, it amazes me sometime. Probably should have followed
John Witzke's lead and passed on interleague play.
Anyway, on Monday:
Pirates/Reds over 9 +110 (Intertops) -- Reds hit lefties real
well. Maholm is a lefty with a road ERA over 6. It's a good hitter's
park. Pirates average over 5 runs per game on the road; yeah a bit
weaker vs right, but still all in all this looks like a very solid
play and the +110 is an added enticement.
Nationals +135 vs Marlins (Intertops) -- A significant starting
pitching edge for the Nats here. They are 14-3 in Redding's starts,
including having won 9 straight.
White Sox -1.5 runs +125 vs Indians (Intertops)
-- Better hitting,
by a significant margin with Cleveland's current injuries. WAY better
starting pitcher. Home/road splits for starting ptichers, and lefty/
righty splits for teams hitting, also support this play quite strongly.

June 30th, 2008
You just have to love finishing the week out strong, and that is
just what I managed to due with the Sunday action. Plays went 8-2
overall, including a perfect 3-0 with the BEST BETS, that saw the
bankroll climb a sweet $769 for the day. BEST BET winners Minnesota
+117, St Louis +108, and the Angels -113, which scored one run in the
entire series, led the way to what turned out to be a very prosperous
day. The other Sunday winners included Toronto, the Mets, Tampa Bay,
SF, and the White Sox in their sweep of the Cubs.....returning the
favor from last weekend. The two losers for Sunday were Cleveland
-1.5, which happened to be the free play....go figure, and
Philadelphia.
Last three weeks have been solid for this service as the bankroll
has risen $1930 in that time frame and the flow of the plays has
certainly been more fluid, and most importantly has been producing
more winners. Will never let a winning streak go to my head, such in
the same manner that I won't let a time of frustrating loses deter me
from doing what it is that I do.....and that is handicapping sports.

Hi everyone, It's the end of June and that means that August is just
over a month away, so it's time to start thinking about NFL and NCAA
Football again! Or it is for me, at least. I have a lot of work to
do tuning up my software for predicting NCAA Football. It's pretty
much all set up for NFL from last year.
I'll be posting my predictions here and participating in the contests,
if we have them this year, plus also the Vegas Insider contests. I
have made my "Predict" software available free for downloading if you
want to play around with that. The "Predict Games" software is still
free too, of course. The only private software now is Jacqueline
which I will be using for this season's contests.
Just thought I'd say hi and see what's up here on RGS. Good Luck to
All in the contests!
