Another subpar day for the selections as they fail to produce a
winning total going 2-3. GRADE 5 play Kent State did manage to cover
the number in an ugly 50-39 win. Other winning play on Tuesday was
Akron as they earned an 80-77 straight up dog win at Ohio. Losing
plays on the day were Texas -13, UW-Milwaukee -4.5 as they lost SU at
home 51-57, and another loss on Arkansas going down to Ole Miss 81-72
essentially ending any hope of an at-large bid for the Razorbacks.

Numbers for Wednesday's slate are showing some strong plays for
the day. The plays will range from the ACC, Big 12, and three plays
are coming out of the SEC. Duke will be installed as the top play for
Wednesday as they listed at 5.5 to compare with my line of 14. I show
Kentucky as a 5 point favorite in their contest at USC, the oddsmaker
are offering me a +2 line... hard to turn that down. Vanderbilt
winning by 11 is the number I feel comfortable with, yet the line is
only 4.5. Throw in Florida as a home dog, and Baylor as a tiny home
favorite and that is the five pack of plays for Wednesday.

GRADE 5:
Duke -5.5

Yesterday: 0-1, -1.15 units
Season: 72-70, -5.20 units (corrected a 2-week old error in # of
winning bets; units were not in error)

Bowling Green +2.5 vs Buffalo (SIA)

Purdue +2.5 vs Ohio State (SIA)

Monday night saw the plays go 1-2 for the night and GRADE 5
selection Georgia Tech took it up the proverbial "poop shute" as they
lost 76-74 at home to Virginia. Winning play was St Mary's -13.5 as
they managed to somehow cover the number in a 64-50 victory......and
Loyola Marymount +20.5 somehow managed now to cover in a 65-86 loss to
San Diego. Overall, I would describe it as a pretty crappy effort and
a rather smelly night overall.

For Tuesday, the selection is quite a bit larger and the quality
of the selections appears to be higher as well. The Horizon League has
their opening round games tonight with the home teams tonight hosting
the worst teams in the conference. Several bubble teams are in action
and their results tonight will help clear the picture of March Madness
which is little more than two weeks away.
