Connecticut -3 West Virginia's confidence is shaken after a shakey
tourney start against inferior Providence)

Iowa 0 (Michigan might get blown out in this; they are a horrible BB
team)

Villanova +7 Villanova showed great poise in opener, never gave up,
dominated 2nd half. Prior matchups have been close.

AirForce +5.5 (Air Force should have the energy it takes to keep this
one close).

Often after a disappointing wager or a bad run of luck or just a
lousy day in general, the words of a song I remember seeing on the
70's show Hee Haw come to mind... "Gloom, Despair, and Agony on me..."
continues on later "If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at
all...Gloom, Despair, and Agony on me." While that may seem a bit
insane to most, it actually brings a smile to my face and puts things
in their proper perspective. That's something I need after a night
like Wednesday.

First game on the slate, Tulsa -10, comes through in fine fashion
as the Hurricanes pull away for an easy cover. That's great...I start
the day 1-0 and after the previous night's antics I knew that anything
is likely to happen in the two night games.

After an 0-2 effort on the Tuesday's plays I can only shake my
head and hope my action today is kinder. Cleveland State failed to
come through, and likewise IUPUI stumbled down the stretch and came up
empty.

Cleveland State appeared to have been the darling pick of most on
Tuesday. Every message board, forum, betting trend, number, analysis,
and even the voodoo doll was leaning on the Vikings +9.5. Certainly
the house out in Vegas was happy to see Butler make this number as
gamblers as a whole took the loss on this one.

IUPUI made the rally, came back and took the lead, and then went
deathly cold as the game winded down. They left points at the free
throw line (missed consecutive front ends of 1-and-1's), and just
couldn't get any shots to fall at key moments.

Fortunately as a gambler there is always the next day. A time
when I can rise from my slumber, open my eyes and have a fresh new
perspective on the action upcoming. Things are definitely more
enjoyable when a bet or two manages to come through.
