I'll go with the "nothing to play for" NYG +14

Of course, coaching decisions alone could
easily result in the PATRIOTS blowing out
the GIANTS by 21+ points as the GIANTS
slump out of the stadium under a hail of
boos from the few remaining fans, who will
realize their team will ALSO then be squashed
on the road in Tampa in part because they
went in as "fan-disappointing losers"

So many times I've witnessed teams in the
NYG position rest their players for the playoffs
only to FAIL the following week too...perhaps
it's a "karma" thing, like gamesmanship...
They may feel they are preparing themselves
PHYSICALLY for the playoff game, but we have to
wonder if adopting an attitude of *giving up*
and not going all out to perform and WIN at home
in front of the fans who pay their salaries,
sets it all up for a letdown the following week.

would be in this post if someone else cares to
put in the effort then post it.

Much has already been written/voiced.

It's tough to say what will transpire.
Even the coaches DON'T KNOW.
Too many variables.

But from a gambling perspective I wonder if
the Patriots will do all they can to get off
to a great start by getting a solid lead;
getting Brady his 2 TD passes to surpass Peyton;
getting Moss his 2 TD catches to surpass RICE;
and of course finishing with a win.
All the above is very likely in any case, but
a win is a win, REGARDLESS if by 14 pts or merely
by pulling all your starters in the 3rd Q and
allowing a backdoor cover to only win by a few
points.
Of course, there's always the chance of

  Holiday Bowl?

With a San Diego venue, this game is not
overly far away for Sun Devil fans to drive.
Of course they may feel cheated out of
playing in their home town Fiesta bowl -
which was their desire to be sure...

This is an extrememly tough call.
Either team could win, either by skill or luck,
as both have done so this season as well as
played poorly against weaker opponents.

I'm not at all impressed with the play of
either of them in their last 4 games.

FWIW, my MPR here has AZ State at 24-35
and suggests Texas at 27-36, or roughly a
1 pt to 3 pt thin edge to Texas.
With the line at Texas -2.5, it's right where
I have it figured - thus I see no value.
