I know there was an earlier post but I just saw a news blip about this.
Charles Barkley, 45, is a retired NBA star who currently does basketball
analysis. Wynn casino in Las Vegas filed a criminal complaint against him
for failure to repay four (4) $100,000.00 loans made to him on 10/18/07 &
10/19/07. Barkley acknowledges the loans, says he will pay them back but
that the Wynn filed the complaint before they contacted him. Barkley said
in an interview last May that he estimates he has gambled away more than
$10,000,000.00 over the years. Barkley denies he has any financial
problems. Personally, I find it a little hard to believe that the Wynn
would file a criminal complaint without first giving a high roller like
Barkley a chance to voluntarily re-pay the money he owed.

I don't know why some people get so apopletic over the concept of same-sex
marriage. It is nobody's business if two men or two women marry. If you
don't belive in same-sex marriage then don't marry someone of the same sex.
The legalization of same-sex marriage doesn't threaten my "traditional"
marriage at all. I don't know why some people feel threatened by it.
Fred.

Let me guess...
You need more people to show your business to.
You need more people that are interested and ready to join and simply
send you money.
The problem is most corporate websites are NOT designed to give you
leads.
Now this new system will get you more leads than you can handle.
We offer cutting edge tools like video spokes people to get you "RED
HOT" leads.
We have even designed it so people will pay you to be a lead.
What?
You read that right.
Not only will we flood you with tons of people that are interested in
your
business but they will pay you to be a lead.
Trust me we have created some of the biggest downlines out there.
Now we're simply giving you the ultimate recruiting system.

Little do men perceive what solitude is, and how far it extendeth.
For a crowd is not company, and faces are but a gallery of pictures,
and talk but a tinkling cymbal, where there is no love.

Another bad day for bigots and rednecks everywhere. We need a lot more days

I've been playing poker for a while, online and in house games.
While online I'm a (marginal) winner and I feel like my game is
improving, I'm simply not able to beat my friends in house games;
although I'm sure I'm the one who has spent the most time studying and
reading about the game.
No one of us is what could be called a solid player. The game
unsurprisingly is very loose, but also very aggressive. To give an
idea, a typical hand would see someone raise 24 times the big blind
with QT from early position, and three people call with random hands
before someone reraises with 75.
I have no idea how to beat this kind of game, so I'm asking about
articles/books or just some advice.
So far I've tried playing textbook poker and it doesn't work. Given
the action one or two monster chip stacks will build up very quickly,
and when you get a playable hand they will require you to basically
get all your chips in. No matter how tight you are or how crappy their
cards are, sooner or later you're going to lose a confrontation and
your stack will be crippled.
