Not that I support Obama (cuz I don't), but I do support fairness.
I have an uncle that's not really an uncle that I would call "uncle" when
telling a story about him. That happens all the time in families. So I don't
have a real problem with that.

Read an article from a European poker magazine that it's better to be
a top poker pro these days than a top tennis pro? It was from
Pokernews first magazine dated June 2007. The last time I was in
Europe, I collected all their magazines when I played in the casino's.
I also read where Russia has declared Poker to be a sport, not a game.
I don't know where these writers come from, nor how people think these
days. Any of the top 30 players on the Tennis tour would earn more
than any poker pro over any reasonable lenght of time. Does anyone
possibly think any of these poker pro's are making 10-20 million or
even close to this in a yearly average (endorsements included).
Sharapova makes about 20 million a year from endorsements if not more
and I think Federer makes even more.
And now, poker is a sport in Russia. Perhaps they will petition the
Olympics. Training would include sitting on your as for 12 hours day
and eating while wearing dark glasses and a baseball cap on backwards.

It's heads-up. Your probability of winning the tournament is
precisely the percentage of the chips that you hold (modulo
some blind-size effect that was probably negligible.) In
that situation, money odds and tournament odds are precisely
the same thing.

So. This is bad how?
You know in poker you want people to make mistakes against you.
Especially long term losers too stupid to fold.
This is how casino's make their money.
Sometimes they get lucky.
If they are bad 4/5 times, make sure you play them 5 times. If you can.

It was his great uincle. It was Buchanwald.
I have people I've always called uncle who are actually my Dad's uncle,
and myu mother's uncles. I have a lot of second couisins I've always
called couisoins. Some families are fairly loose with such distinnctions.

Wouldn't it be simpler if we voted for the
handlers, instead of the candidates? Then
we could get statements straight from the
horse's mouth...
