I'm a LIBERAL (big L, big I, big B, big E, big R, big A, big L [again])
but absolutely can not stand Irish Mike. He's a pompous, self-centered,
egotistical gas bag who gives LIBERALS a bad name. His recent actions
have been so stupid that I think he must be a closet conservative out to
hurt the LIBERAL's chances in the presidential election! At most he's a
mere liberal (small l, etc.).

Every now and then a poker hand comes along that makes you temporarily
forget the countless draws you've missed and long shots they've hit. I had
one last week in a jammed up $10/$20 game. There was only about $700 in the
pot but the beauty was in the way the hand played out. There was an
obnoxious kid (OK) on my immediate right who is a fairly good player but
thinks he's better than he is. He's always quick to ridicule another's play
and to rationalize his own. Plus, he has the annoying habit of constantly
counting and re-counting his money. He was also stuck and being even
nastier than usual.

A loose player (LP) in early position raises, obnoxious kid (OK) on my right
re-raises and I look down at TT. Usually I'd muck them for three early
position bets but I know obnoxious kid (OK) likes to re-raise to isolate
weaker players. In addition, he's stuck and starting to tilt a little.
And, I know there is a maniac behind me who will probably help the pot odds
by calling with any two cards. Well the maniac behind me does call the
three bets cold and both blinds and the early position loose player (LP)
call as well.

Flop comes K, T, 3 rainbow. Loose player (LP) in early position has KK,
flopped top set and bets,. Obnoxious kid (OK) has 33, (an advanced strategy
play no doubt) flopped a set of Threes and raises....

move was to say that a Democratic ticket with a "black man and a white woman
